The 4 Day Zanzibar Package Holiday Tour is the one you would do if you are short on time.
This Package includes the Prison Island Boat Trip, Safari Blue Boat Trip, Stone Town City Tour and the Spice Tour. You can start on any date you request. This is a private tour just your group in vehicle with driver/guides. We can help arrange flights and speed boats in and out of Zanzibar.
Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1
After arrival at Zanzibar airport/ Seaport transfer to Stone Town for check-in at Tembo Hotel (or similar hotel) pool view room on BB basis.
Day 2
Morning at 09:00am have the Stone Town Tour taking you around the historical culture and architectural important town of Zanzibar with a century history. It includes a visit to former slave market site, now stands as Anglican church built in 1871, town market, visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), Old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian dispensary (Cultural Centre)
At 02:00pm trip to Spice Tour on this tour you will see and taste the tropical fruits, spices plantation or plots in the island. A variety of spices plants used as ornament, medicines, flowers, fruits and another interesting flora can be seen during spice tour and visit to Kidichi bath built in 1850 by the first Sultan for his wife Sheharzad (granddaughter of Fateh Ali Shah of Persia. overnight at your hotel on BB basis
Day 3
Prison Island. After breakfast we shall board for a trip to Prison Island or Changuu Island. This is the middle island of the three visible from the Stone Town. It takes approximately 30 minutes to get there by boat. The prison which was never used on this island was built in 1893, but was later used as a Quarantine Hospital.
Apart from the Prison ruins you will also see the enormous giant tortoises which are the main attraction of the island. The tortoises were brought on the island from Seychelles by Sultan Said Majid in the 1820’s. On this little paradise one can also swim, snorkel, sunbathe or just relax on the beach and enjoy the peacefulness that this small beautiful island has to offer
Back to your hotel for evening leisure and overnight on BB basis.
Day 4
Pick up and transfer to airport for departure.
