This Package includes the Prison Island Boat Trip, Safari Blue Boat Trip, Stone Town City Tour, Jozani Forest Tour and the Spice Tour. You can start on any date you request. This is a private tour just your group in a vehicle with driver/guides. We can help arrange flights and speed boats in and out of Zanzibar.
Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1
After arrival at Zanzibar airport meet and transfer to Stone Town for check-in at Tembo Hotel(or similar hotel ) sea/pool view room on BB basis
Day 2
Morning at 09:00am have the Stone Town City Tour takes around the historical culture and architectural important town of Zanzibar with a century history. It includes a visit to former slave market site, now stands as Anglican church built in 1871, town market, visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), Old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian dispensary (Cultural Center)
At 2:00pm driving to Spice Tour. On this tour you will see and taste the tropical fruits, spices plantation or plots in the island. A variety of spices plants used as ornament, medicines, flowers, fruits and another interesting flora can be seen during spice tour and visit to Kidichi bath built in 1850 by the first Sultan for his wife Sheharzad (granddaughter of Fateh Ali Shah of Persia, back to the hotel evening leisure and overnight on BB basis
Day 3
At 9:00am have a boat trip to Prison Island and Sand Bank, This tour starts from the shore of stone town where you depart in a Swahili dhow for Prison Island to visit the ruins and giant tortoises. You will then sail to Pange island (sand bank), this nowhere island is covered twice a day by high tide. This astonishing white sandy bank is surrounded by clear crystalline warm water, an ideal place to relax with only the sound of the waves as they lightly crash and disappear at the edges of the bank and few sea birds that come to catch the tiny ghost crabs that roam the sandbank. Snorkeling is not to be missed as you will discover the treasures of the coral reef beneath the ocean. During this trip you will be offered a variety of local fresh fruits, beverages, snacks lunch of swahili cuisine and other soft drinks. Back to stone town and overnight on BB basis
Day 4
At 10:00 transfer to North for check-in at Flame tree cottages on HB basis
Day 5
Day is spent at leisure and overnight on HB bases.
Day 6
Pick up from hotel/resort transfer to the airport for departure.
